Do you need a boat certificate for a small inflatable boat?
We are planning to buy a small, inflatable boat – this is the first boat we will be buying, but we heard somewhere that we will need a boat certificate. Is that true? I mean, it IS an inflatable boat… If so, where can we get one (on Long Island) and how much does it cost! Thanks!!!

As far as know, in all the USA, you do not if it is human powered…. not powered by a motor or sail..
